The term "White Gold" refers to 750/1000 white gold, also known as 18 carats, in which there is a proportion of palladium (13%), making it light gray, almost white. No surface treatment such as rhodium plating is used; the gold is white throughout and will remain so.

"According to Greek legend, Circe is a famous sorceress. She lives on the island of Aea , surrounded by wolves and lions, once men whom she bewitched. When Ulysses and his companions landed on the island, they were drawn to the palace by a harmonious voice, Circe welcomed them and offered them a Cycaeon , a drink to which she had added a poison: Datura . As soon as they had drunk, she recited an incantation which transformed them into pigs. The god Hermes then gave Odysseus the herb " Moly ," the counter-philter, and gave him instructions for triumphing over Circe."
