The Sapho bracelet is a bracelet made of different types of natural stone beads: polished onyx , matte onyx, and tumbled lava . We have added two authentic black pearls from Tahiti , more precisely from Tuamotu Gambier, as well as a carved black silver bead (925/1000).
The pearls are strung according to jewelry tradition with a knot between each one, which will prevent the pearls from colliding and falling out in the event of accidental breakage of the bracelet. They both measure at least 8mm and are of C quality.
If possible, please indicate your exact wrist size in the "add a note" box at the bottom of the shopping cart summary so that we can create your bracelet to the perfect measurements. We recommend taking this measurement with a tape measure on the narrowest part of your wrist (usually after the styloid bone).
For a wrist between 14 cm and 15.5 cm: choose a size S
For a wrist between 15.5 cm and 17 cm: choose a size M
For a wrist between 17cm and 18.5cm: choose a size L
For a wrist between 18.5 and 20 cm: choose an XL size
Traditionally and handcrafted in our workshop in Paris, France. We will custom-make your bracelet especially for you; please allow 5 weeks for production.
Please note that each bracelet is unique and therefore the bracelet you receive will differ significantly from those presented on the website, particularly in terms of the color of the natural pearls. This specificity is intentional and is the very essence of Legion Paris's artisanal way of working. It should not be considered a defect or subject to complaint.
The term "Black Silver" refers to solid silver with a legal fineness of 925/1000 that has been oxidized to a dark gray color. Black silver will develop a patina, and the treatment will fade in places to reveal the natural shine of untreated silver.
Sappho was a very famous poet during Antiquity, known for her love poems. We know only a small part of her poetic work and have few details about her life. Painters often depict her on the verge of suicide, out of love for a man named Phaon, by throwing herself from the top of a rock.

- Our diamond-shaped hallmark authenticates the jewelry and its provenance. Like a signature, it is required by French Customs.
- “925” authenticating the legal title of 925/1000 silver for all silver jewelry.
- An eagle's head for all gold jewelry weighing more than 3g authenticating the legal title of 750/1000 gold. It is hallmarked directly by the French Customs control service.
- A Minerva head for all silver jewelry over 30g authenticating the legal title of 925/1000 silver. It is hallmarked directly by the French Customs control service.
